Sorry to see Steve passed in 2011 after an 8 year battle with kidney disease. Steve was a loyal friend to those lucky enough to have him as a friend, myself included. I lost touch with him 3 or 4 years out of high school. Things I will remember about Steve: Steve losing his 15 year old sister in 1975 drowning accident. His hard slap shot in boot hockey. I was the goalie (without shin pads) and in junior high basketball, had bruises all over my legs from him. Coaches gave me the third degree and actually thought my dad was abusing me. I will remember him for his love of Chicago before others knew about them. I will remember playing basketball with him and his ferocious rebounding. I will remember him being one of the kings of Viking Roller Rink in Fridley. I remember selling band candy with him all three high school years, and his gift of gab made him an excellent salesman.

Steve I will miss you and wished I could see you one more time.
RIP Rebound King. God Bless.
With love, Phil
