Naylor Kent Alan. Born Jan. 11, 1955 in Juneau, Alaska, died May 26, 2002 in a boating accident in Cornucopia, WI. Preceded in death by brother, Rodger Naylor. Beloved son of Evelyn (Gary) Nelson and Arlen (Marge) Naylor. Survived by sisters, Lynn Steffen, Heather (Robert) Isenor, Jody (Jim) Marshall, Jennie (Chris) Rooney, Nancy (John) Norling and Mary (Donny) Peterson; brothers, Todd (Mary) Nelson and Jim (Melisa) Nelson; a special uncle to Steven, Jamie, Jason, Nykkia, Cody, Michael, Taylor, Amy and Claire. Kent graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1973. He joined the United States Air Force upon graduation. In recent years, he worked as a carpenter. He loved his sailing boat, Elysium, and his dog, Max. Memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, June 1 at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church, 10506 Hanson Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of choice.
