Deborah L. Johnson

Johnson, Deborah L. Age 62 of Center City, MN, passed away March 31, 2017 from complication of a four month battle with cancer. Deborah was born in 1954 in Britton, South Dakota and relocated with her family to Blaine, MN in 1968 where she attended Blaine Jr High and graduated from Coon Rapids Sr High in 1973. Debbie attended the U of MN before working with the VA in Minneapolis, MN. In 1978 she began a 41 year career with the United States Postal Service. She is survived by her husband, Keith Johnson, two brothers, Dennis (Joy) Carson, Lyndon (Dottie) Johnson and five sisters, Jan (Jim) Smith, DeeAnn (Raymond) Schmidt, Karen (Dennis) Herman-sen, Karol Plouffe and Cheryl (Don) Wiseman as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Muriel and Elmer Carson. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St Bridget's Catholic Church in Lindstrom, MN. Visitation from 9:30-11 a.m. prior to Mass at church. Interment 2:15 p.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
