I went to Anoka Ramsey and recieved my AA degree
Then on to the UofM to recieve my BA degree in English Lit and Child Psychology
I married Roger in 1980. We had 2 sons who grew into wonderful young men. Zach is temporily living with us, working fulltime in Edina. Matt was married in December and lives in Chicago while pursuing his Psychology Doctorate.

Roger is an attorney and I love my job as a special ed early childhood paraprofessional in the Osseo School district working with primarily autistic preschoolers. Their accomplishments are amazing and the rewards are great.

I am so sorry to miss the reunion. I wish for you all a most joyous time reconnecting. My son will be graduating that weekend with his Masters degree and we will be celebrating with him as a family.

School Story

I loved the school spirit (where has that disappeared to these days?). The outdoor football games and the basketball games were the best. I enjoyed my time on the girls HS (JV) basketball and track teams and loved my trip to Spain with the Spanish program. I have fond memories of all of my friends and of course those HS crushes, which will remain nameless here :-). High School was a great time!

Goodness it was fun to catch up on a few names as I read through the "where the classmates are now". I remembered lots of names and faces.
I am now retired. I graduated from the U of M with BAs in English lit and child development. I married my husband Roger in 1980. He is currently an asst DA ( prosecutor) in Sherburne Co., Elk River. We have two terrific sons Matt born in 1989 and is working at Moose Lake doing clinical therapy and is working on a book regarding psycho therapy for psychologists employing Star Wars and Marvel characters in their clinical practices. He married in 2021 to our wonderful daughter-in-law Erica - no children yet. Zach was born in 1992 and is married to our other most wonderful daughter-in-law, Samantha, they married also in 2021. He is working in heating/air-conditioning and they bought the house I grew up in from my parents in Coon Rapids. They also have no children yet.
I worked for 50 years in early childhood education as an preschool teacher and ended my career as a special ed para in the Osseo school district for preschoolers ( primarily high needs autism)- the most rewarding and challenging times of my career.l, I loved it.! But it is a job for younger bodies so when we shut down for COVID in 2020 I retired in October of that year. I love being retired and now enjoy working out at a local Snap Fitness. I feel healthy and energized -- it's all good.
I am not sure about our plans for the reunion because it actually falls on a long standing professional retreat for my husband. But maybe I can see what's going on that Saturday evening and come.
